Whether moving Dynafit bindings to a new ski or needing to repair a damaged brake, you've landed at the right place. Please note some brakes are sold as a pair while others are offered individually. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us. If you need brakes to turn your brakeless Speed Rad or Speed Turn into a braked behemoth, please see our Kreuzspitze Heel Brakes!
Low Tech Race x2 - Non-removable brakes for the current LTR 105 and 115 bindings. Does not work with earlier LTR / PDG bindings.
Hello, Dynafit pointed me in the this direction to find the heel for my binding. It's a radical ST 10 (early model it looks like?). The brake system is good still, just the top heel/tower piece broke off. I can't seem to find on the website but maybe I'm missing? Thanks/
If the metal turret that the heel piece attaches to is intact, then you don't need to replace the brakes/baseplate. If the metal turret is broken, you will need to replace the baseplate as well as the heel piece. The brakes are available on this listing (Radical ST brakes). The heel pieces are available here, you would need the Radical ST. It will be a different color, but is functionally the same.

Dynafit Brakes ST Radical (Base plate heel). Will this work for FT Radical housing? The broken part can be seen in the photo.
Yes, the 120mm brake would be the one to order for a 116mm ski!

Hi there, I have some Radical ST 12s that I am trying to remount on some skinnier (116) skis and I need some smaller brakes. I want to confirm that the radical st 110 brakes/base plate will work for my situation before I go ahead and order them.
Hi Koa! The 110mm brake will fit a 116mm ski with some bending. Please note that this is nearing the maximum for these brakes and should be done with care. Thanks!
Would you be able to supply replacement brakes for TLT Verticals to use with 95mm waisted skis? Would those brakes have dual springs? My current brakes do not reliably deploy; they only have one spring each and might have originally needed bending wider to fit, so they tend to stick closed.
Hi Ryan, it looks like you may have the first-gen Radical ST which did have swappable brakes. Sadly you can no longer buy them, except occasionally used. For new, you need to swap the whole baseplate/brake combo which is what is sold on this page under Radical ST. That does require unmounting and remounting, which in your case may also require plugging and drilling since that looks like the longer Rental track.

Will the Radical ST binding w/ 100mm breaks work with a 108mm waist width ski?
Hi Ryan, you'd definitely need the bend the 100mm a good bit, I would go with the 110mm if possible. But if you've got a pair of 100mm you could probably get them to work.

I need a 100 break width binding. I want to purchase the ST Rotation 10-105 Bindings. Would those work for my skis?
Hi Ryan! The 110mm brakes of this binding will fit on a 115mm ski with a bit of bending. This is nearing as wide as you would want to go, as you may start running into trouble beyond this. Thanks!
Hi ScSe, the LTR race brake actually mounts under the heelpiece of the LTR 105 and 115. Unfortunately, the LTR 1 & 2 have a slightly different heel pattern and aren't compatible with the race brake.
Hello Scott, So it is the heel piece that the LTR brakes attach to. They will only work with the current LTR 105 model. Not with those old heels that go with those toes.

Help, please!
Fischer branded Dynafit brake break...similar to Doug in Feb '23 pic, I think. They are on Hannibal 94 skis. Can you tell me what the replacement part is?
Hi Peter! The Look ST 10 is a rebranded version of the Dynafit Speed Turn. Although Dynafit did not make a compatible brake, Kreuzspitze made one that'll work! You can find them here. Thanks!

Hey there, i have some Dynafit speedfit 10 bindings mounted on Nordica Enforcer 104 free and am looking for brakes but all the 105mm are sold out everywhere, are there any other Brakes compatible with my setup?
Jon, Yes, the Speedfit and Speed bindings were updated and renamed Blacklight. So the Blacklight 105mm brake here will work for you.

Howdy,
I'm between getting the ST rotation 90mm or 105mm brake. The brake broke on one of them and I can't figure out size they installed. The ski is 96mm underfoot. Which should I get?
I'd go with the 90mm brake. You might need to bend them to fit, but the 105 will stick out quite a bit. Make sure you only bend the brake arm, as opposed to pulling the whole assembly wider.

Are the st rotation brakes compatible with the jr rotation? Have the 92 brake and need to work on 102 ski. Thx
Nick, You have the Radical 2.0, which was renamed the Rotation. So the ST Rotation brakes.

I backed the fore/aft adjustment screw too far on an older speed radical but broke off the front flange. Looking for a baseplate replacement but not sure which of the above I need. Suggestions? Thanks, John
The Speed Radical you have is a brakeless binding - Dynafit does not make a brake for it. However, luckily, Kreuzspitze does! For a permanently mounted brake, check out the Kreuzspitze Heel Brake for the Speed Radical. It will mount under the heel piece (you will need to back out the mounting screws and then screw them back in).

Question from
Shawn Taylor
does anyone have a video on how to swap out brakes on the Rotations?
Shawn, Not that I have seen. You remove the large silver lateral adjustment screw. Make sure the cap inside is out. You rotate the heel till the pins are pointed to the back. The brakes will sort of be in the way, you will need to manipulate the brakes so you can do that.
